Kubernetes Community Days (or KCD) is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) supported event that takes place in 30 cities every year. You may have attended KCDs before in neighboring countries, but finally KCD is coming to Budapest for us to enjoy a day together in the local cloud native community.

KCDs are community-organized events that gather adopters and technologists from open source and cloud native communities for education, collaboration, and networking.

What to expect?

A day of Kubernetes and Cloud Native, full of talks, workshops and fun ending with a party! We are a locally-focused, but English speaking community of engineers, developers, professionals and students of all things Cloud Native, coming together for celebrating our love and passion for technology.

• 2 tracks of technically competent talks, relevant to the larger community and coming from end-users rather than vendors. Aim is to ensure the highest possible quality of sessions for all types of attendees.

• Special and well-known guests from Open Source, DevOps and Cloud Native communities.

• An exceptional venue that is able to host 300 attendees in a modern setting.

• You'll not only delve into the wonders of modern cloud technologies but you can also learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube.

• The day ends with party to make this event memorable! (Details to follow)
  

Call For Papers

We look forward to receive many applications from experienced speakers and newcomers. Please use Sessionize at kcdbudapest.hu/cfp. The CFP is open between 8th of January and 17th of February 2025, while speakers and agenda will be announced late-February. We are welcoming lightning talks and regular 35-minute talks.
