KCD (Kubernetes and Cloud Native Community Days) is taking over Norway and the beautiful city of Oslo for the first time in January 2024! Join us for two days of learning, experience sharing and community building.

About this event

This two-day event promises an enriching experience, with the first day dedicated to workshops and the second day packed with engaging presentations covering various topics related to Kubernetes, open source, and the cloud native ecosystem. Our lineup features a diverse group of talented speakers, ensuring a broad range of perspectives and expertise.

We are thrilled about the upcoming two-days event filled with great content, enjoyable activities, valuable learning opportunities, knowledge sharing, and community building.

As organizers, we are a passionate, friendly, and welcoming group from Norway's cloud native community. Our shared love for community, learning, and knowledge exchange drives us to create an inclusive, safe, and inviting environment at KCD Oslo.


  • 24th of January - KCD Oslo Workshop Day: the first day will be dedicated to technical workshops and will be held at a separate location from the main event. Information about the location and registration link for the workshops will be sent out to everyone who has purchased the ticket for the main event a few days before the Workshop Day.


  • 25th of January - KCD Oslo Main Event (SOLD OUT): the main event will happen on the second day and will take place at the Microsoft office in Bjørvika (Dronning Eufemias gate 71, 0194, Oslo) featuring a full-day program spread across two session tracks. Attendees can expect sessions addressing various aspects of the CNCF and Kubernetes landscape. The event will culminate in an all-attendee dinner, providing an opportunity for networking and further discussions.


What can YOU expect?

KCD Oslo is aimed at a diverse range of technical roles, including developers, architects, engineers, system administrators and technologists beyond any formally defined roles. It serves as a gathering point for the Kubernetes and cloud native community, as long as you're enthusiastic about all things cloud native and open source.


The event is aimed at expanding and strengthening the Norwegian tech community, fostering an open and inclusive atmosphere. You can also expect:

  • A wide array of technically competent talks that cater to the larger community. These talks will be delivered by end-users and community members, ensuring their relevance and value. The content will span from introductory sessions for newbies to deep-dives for seasoned cloud native ninjas.
  • Well-known speakers from the Kubernetes, open source, and cloud native community, providing unique insights and expertise.
  • Fantastic venue situated in the heart of Oslo, offering close proximity to the stunning Oslo fjord. During breaks, before and after the event, you can enjoy a leisurely promenade and experience the true beauty of nordic winter.
