Kubernetes Community Days Sri Lanka (KCD Sri Lanka) 2022 is a community-organized event supported by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) to help grow and sustain the Kubernetes and cloud-native community. It gathers adopters and technologists from open source and cloud-native communities for education, collaboration, and networking.
Sri Lanka has a growing group of Cloud Native enthusiasts, students, professionals, and technology leaders. KCD Sri Lanka offers a platform for this community to come together and connect with other tech communities in India and neighboring countries. It provides an opportunity to experience conferences like KubeCon / CloudNativeCon together with the rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka.

An accomplished software architect at WSO2 with over 8 years of industry experience. He is skilled in developing full-stack applications, cloud computing, DevOps, and SRE and is also an expert in all things related to Kubernetes and the Cloud Native stack. He was also instrumental in starting Kubernetes Community in Sri Lanka back in 2018. He is passionate about assisting the community by sharing information via media articles and speaking at community events.
Flynn is a technology evangelist at Buoyant. He works on spreading the good word about Linkerd, the graduated CNCF service mesh that makes the fundamental software security and reliability tools freely available to every engineer, and about Kubernetes and cloud-native development in general. He is also the original author of the Emissary-ingress API gateway, a CNCF project.
Flynn's career in computing spans nearly forty years and runs the gamut from bringing bare metal up through distributed applications, with a common thread of communications and security throughout. He has spoken about Linkerd, Emissary-ingress, and other cloud native technologies at several conferences including KubeCon/CloudNativeCon, DevOps Days, and the NYC Kubernetes meetup.
Vito is a Senior Digital & Application Innovation Cloud Solution Architect and Tech Lead at Microsoft. He's been developing applications for 27 years and is a big fan of Azure, GitHub, and Visual Studio Code. He is a co-founder of Saved, a personal budgeting and expense app that was featured on the Apple App Store and iTunes home page. It was also #1 (Finance category) on App Store Top Charts in Singapore and Malaysia.
Janaka is a Co-founder and the Director at Ascension IT. He is a seasoned person in the Open Source ecosystem going back to the days of building Sahana project at Lanka Software Foundation (LSF), he’s passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences with the community.
He is a technologist and evangelist of cloud-native technologies. He has led cloud technologies for companies like Cisco and now advises companies on how to talk about their tech.
She has been with Amazon Web Services (AWS) since 2014. Over the years she has worked in multiple roles like Solutions Architect and Supports Engineer in different geographies helping customers. She is passionate to share her experiences and help strengthen the builders of tomorrow. She speaks frequently at conferences, community meetups, and her YouTube channel
She is currently working at WSO2 as Developer Advocate. With a background in Software Engineering, she has over 10 years of experience in the roles of Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technology Evangelist, Program Manager, and Developer Advocate at WSO2. She has been a technology advocate for WSO2 in the areas of API Management, Enterprise Application Integration, Identity and Access Management, Microservices Architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture.
Harish has extensive experience in APIs, Microservices, Observability, and API Security. He is the co-founder of Levo.ai, which is an API Security & Observability solution
Oum Kale, a Software Engineer (RnD Team) at JFrog working on the Installer team to build a Kubernetes Operator for deployment and management of applications. He is also a Core-Contributor/Member of the CNCF Incubating project LitmusChaos. And also he is a Sporty guy International Rated Chess Player.
He is a Full Stack Developer based in India. He is a passionate developer, open source enthusiast, and coder who loves the web platform.
Jorge is a Cloud Developer Advocate for Containers based in Melbourne/Australia with over 20 years in the tech industry. As a former Microsoft MVP - Most Valued Professional, He developed his passion to help and sponsor the Community to get into the tech industry, to learn how to collaborate and share their own knowledge with others.
Since 2014, He has been involved in the Containers, Kubernetes, Azure, DevOps, and Open Source technologies space.

Neelanjan Manna is a Software Engineer at Harness. He is a contributor to the CNCF LitmusChaos project, a chaos engineering orchestration framework for validating the resiliency of cloud-native environments. He contributes to the development of emerging technologies including chaos engineering, distributed applications, and Kubernetes applications at Harness.
Darren Shepherd is the Chief Architect and Co-Founder of Acorn Labs. He is a frequent speaker on topics related to Kubernetes and containers. Prior to starting Acorn, Darren was a co-founder of Rancher Labs, where he was the principal architect of Rancher and k3s.
Kirsten leads the hybrid platform security product, management team. Kirsten works closely with Red Hat’s many security professionals across the Red Hat portfolio of enterprise-ready open source offerings. Kirsten is a diversified software management professional with 20+ years of experience in security, application development, and infrastructure solutions. Prior to joining Red Hat, Kirsten provided strategic direction for Black Duck’s open-source security and governance solutions.
