In-person event

About this event

That's a wrap!

Kubernetes Community Days UK returned this 2023 and took place in-person at CodeNode, London on 17th and 18th October 2023.

This event brought together the cloud native community from across the UK to learn, network and collaborate. Kubernetes Community Days UK is supported by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, and organised by community group leaders. Check out the pictures from the event!

Conference

Over the course of two days we shared stories of people using these technologies, both successes and failures - through in-depth technical talks, demonstrations of open source projects and workshops. The full details of the agenda are shown below. You can see the photos from last year's event here: https://gallery.kcduk.io/

Workshops

Along with two days of fantastic talks and discussion, a number of companies are helping to support the community by offering free technical training through hands-on workshops. The full workshop agenda can be seen here on the dedicated workshop site: https://workshops.kcduk.io

Sponsorship

Kubernetes Community Days UK is a volunteer-run event and we rely on money raised from sponsorship to cover event costs and swag, with any remaining proceeds being donated to charity. Our sponsors support the Kubernetes community in the UK; if you would like to sponsor this event, please see our Sponsorship Prospectus here and email hello@kcduk.io.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to making the participation of all those involved in this event an experience free from harassment of any kind. Kubernetes Community Days are governed by the Linux Foundation Code of Conduct available at https://events.linuxfoundation.org/code-of-conduct/.

COVID-19 Requirements: LATEST

Our attendees’ health and safety is our priority as we monitor COVID-19 and look to local UK Government guidelines to make the best and most informed decisions around onsite safety and requirements. Our current COVID-19 policy is as follows:

  • we recommend but do not require event participants to wear masks
  • we encourage attendees to take a lateral flow test before arriving at the conference venue, and not attend if they test positive or feel unwell
  • we do not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry

In addition, employees from vendors working onsite (including but not limited to venue staff, catering, security, A/V, etc.) will not be required to wear masks, or to show proof of vaccination or a negative test. Event venues and vendors are no longer legally able to enforce mask wearing, testing, or vaccine requirements for their employees.

All current protocols are subject to change should there be a change in local UK Government guidelines. We will do everything we can to provide any updates as early as possible. Please note that the risk profile of other attendees may be different to yours. Please respect their wishes around social distancing and physical contact.
