We’re planning to have two tracks full of Cloud Native talks delivered to you online and it’s all for a good cause.
A total of 8 hours of cloud native and open source talks with a variety of topics: from Kubernetes to Open Source community best practices.
The KCD Ukraine is a community-organized, not-for-profit, charity event, providing free access to the event while encouraging you and/or your company to donate to our crowdfunding.
All funds raised will be split even between Razom for Ukraine and Operation Dvoretskyi. The fundraising will be open from now on, so you can start donating today.

Liz Rice is Chief Open Source Officer with eBPF specialists Isovalent, creators of the Cilium cloud native networking, security and observability project. She was Chair of the CNCF's Technical Oversight Committee 2019-2022, and Co-Chair of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon in 2018. She is also the author of Container Security, published by O'Reilly.
She has a wealth of software development, team, and product management experience from working on network protocols and distributed systems, and in digital technology sectors such as VOD, music, and VoIP. When not writing code, or talking about it, Liz loves riding bikes in places with better weather than her native London, and competing in virtual races on Zwift.
Viktor is a Developer Advocate at Upbound, a member of the Google Developer Experts, CDF Ambassadors, and a Docker Captain. A published author. His big passions are DevOps, GitOps, Microservices, Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment (CI/CD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD). He is a host of the YouTube channel DevOps Toolkit and a co-host of DevOps Paradox. He published The DevOps Toolkit Series and Test-Driven Java Development.
Liav Yona is a Software Development Team Lead at Firefly. With years of experience, Liav earned a reputation as a Cloud Native and Cybersecurity expert. Prior to Firefly, Liav served for several years in the elite intelligence unit 8200 and worked at CyberArk. Liav is a passionate tech blogger with thousands of frequent readers.
I'm Kris, I live in Norway, love coding and spreading love for cats in presentations. Currently I am working as a Software Architect and driving several exciting tech projects that support digitalization journey in public and private sector, minimizing bureaucracy and making citizens' life easier.
As a person I love learning new things and sharing my journey and experiences with others. My biggest passion is tech and my goal is to inspire other developers to code with sustainability and security in mind by spreading my knowledge and experience. My goal is also to be a female coder role model that can inspire and motivate all the beautiful girls and ladies out there to join the world of tech!

Krisztian is enthusiastic about observability and cloud infrastructures. He's working at solo.io as a field engineer. Previously, he was worked at LastPass as senior DevOps/SRE engineer. At solo.io Krisztian is helping to design secure and scalable cloud infrastructures at companies at any scale, and is contributing to the open-source bcc and BumbleBee projects based on eBPF. Krisztian is building a self hosted blog on top of Istio in his spare time. The main topics of the blog are aligned with his interests while he is also using the platform to share operational anecdotes on running one of the most "over-engineered" blog out there.
Developer Advocate with 15+ years experience consulting for many different customers, in a wide range of contexts (such as telecoms, banking, insurances, large retail and public sector). Usually working on Java/Java EE and Spring technologies, but with focused interests like Rich Internet Applications, Testing, CI/CD and DevOps. Also double as a trainer and triples as a book author.
Divya is a Senior Technical Evangelist at SUSE, where she contributes to Rancher’s cloud native open source projects. She co-chairs the documentation for the Kubernetes & LitmusChaos projects & has previously worked extensively in the systems engineering space during her tenure with HSBC & IGate Global Solutions Pvt Ltd. A co-creator of the KCNA exam & a CNCF ambassador, she is invested in making technical communities & technologies more accessible & inclusive.
I am a DevOps enthusiast, and my day-to-day work is related to the removal of extraneous cognitive load from software engineers at Grammarly, so this is why I call myself a Developer Experience engineer.

I am a software engineer from Belarus living in Czech Republic. My job is to overlook cluster lifecycle, working on OpenShift in Red Hat
Saul is a Kubernetes platform engineer at Liquid Reply who is driven by his passion for ensuring supply chain security and hardening containers. He is an advocate for GreenOps and GreenCloud, and is constantly exploring new ways to drive sustainability in the tech industry. With his expertise in Kubernetes and dedication to DevSecOps he is currently supporting Automotive companies in their Kubernetes Journeys.
Moritz Eckert is Chief Architect at Edgeless Systems. He conducted research at EURECOM and UC Santa Barbara, working on the next generation of Cyber Reasoning Systems. He joined Edgeless Systems in 2020 to make confidential computing scalable and accessible for everyone. Moritz has presented at Microsoft Build, Usenix Security, and RSA Conference conferences.

I am an advocate for code quality and deploying with confidence through automating everything. Currently at Firefly working to reduce the complexity that comes the freedom to choose how you deploy your work.
Rado Marina, born and raised in the Ukrained, has more than a decade’s experience as a multi-disciplinary engineer across many domains and technologies––from servers, to automation, open source with Linux and Kubernetes, through web, cloud and monitoring. He has deep expertise working with huge cloud fleets and on-prem at data center scale. He is deeply passionate about bringing technology excellence to the organizations he works at, leading people by building a thriving engineering culture that is both healthy and delivers happiness, while still being highly productive. Today he leads the SRE practice at Firefly, helping large-scale companies bring their cloud up to code. He would love to speak at Ukraine fundraiser to help and support his home country.
