New Relic Container Monitoring
Our first session will include a short presentation on how New Relic monitors application performance, Docker containers, and server metrics for modern application infrastructure. demonstration on how to instrument an application server running in a Docker container and finally monitoring the server and Docker container performance.
Presenter Michael Osowski is a Technical Account Manager working for New Relic offering a SaaS-based application monitoring platform, with a focus on enterprise clients. He has been working with various web technologies for 15 years.
Kubernetes 1.3 Update
Kuberentes 1.3 is almost here. It will incorporate many new features, which will be discussed and demoed, including:
· Legacy app support (aka “Pet Sets”)
· Cluster Federation (aka Ubernetes)
· In-cluster IAM
· Cluster autoscaling
· Scheduled Job object (i.e. cron jobs)
· Public Cloud Dashboard (w/ nightly runs to indicate cloud performance metrics and integration + support)
