We know that Docker containers are lightweight, fast and makes efficient use of your resources. Well, that is true if you follow best practices especially in building your docker images. If best practices are not followed, Docker containers can become heavyweight, bulky and makes little or no difference in resource usage and performance when compared to virtual machines.

In this talk, Brent will look at general and language specific strategies to optimize Docker containers, and will even attempt a live demo. (gasp!)
