About this event

We are excited to announce the July meetup scheduled for Thursday July 19th.

Over the past several years DevOps practices have had a major impact on modern application architectures. Nowhere is this impact more apparent than in the ecosystem of Cloud Native architecture and technology. Cloud Native technologies use the efficiency of containers to make microservices architectures that are more useful and adaptive than their monolithic predecessors. In order to utilize this architectural flexibility, forward-thinking organizations have turned to well known DevOps principles as they build Cloud Native, microservices-based applications. The combination of DevOps and Cloud Native architectures is tilting the playing field by fostering a streamlined, lean product development process that can adapt quickly to market changes.
In this session, we will discuss how DevOps best practices are changing as organizations move toward Cloud Native architectures and Kubernetes. We will explore the changing roles and responsibilities of application development and operations. We will demonstrate some open source, Cloud Native tools and technologies that can help application development teams, DevOps teams and Operations teams get started.
