We are excited to announce the September meetup scheduled for Wednesday, September 18th at Improving, Plano.

GitOps is a way to do continuous delivery of resources using Git as a single source of truth for deploying into your cluster. This is easy for a development team as they are already familiar with git and do not need to know other tools or cluster layout. Weave Flux is a tool that implements a pull-based Gitops model by running in your Kubernetes cluster and deploying changes based on monitoring Git and image repositories.

In this talk, we will demonstrate implementing Flux and using it to deploy standard helm charts, as well as our custom software, and will discuss a typical gitops workflow you might choose to implement.
