We are pleased to announce the First meetup of 2019 for January 16th. This will be a continuation from the last presentation and the concluding part of Istio Service Mesh.
What is Istio? Istio is service mesh software that leverages Envoy from Lyft.
As your applications become composed of more and more microservices, managing and coordinating all of those services can become difficult. Which services are communicating with each other? Are they communicating securely? And most importantly, how can you know? This workshop will get you started creating a service mesh with Istio, a cloud-native computing foundation project that runs on Kubernetes. In this workshop, we will follow the Istio section of the AWS EKS Workshop at www.eksworkshop.com.
