An intro into using Policy-as-Code to inform and enforce best practices and internal policies for Kubernetes. Using Kubernetes Admission Controls we'll explore implementing both a home grown solution and using a more "off the shelf" approach with Open Policy Agent.

Joe Searcy is a Principal Architect at T-Mobile. As a leader on the Platform Engineering team he helps design, build, and maintain the various components that make up TKE (T-Mobile Kubernetes Engine). He's a technologist at heart, an Audiophile, and loves seeking out the local craft beer scene wherever he goes.
