Michelle Noorali -- Deploying and Managing Kubernetes Applications with Helm
Kubernetes has seen lots of traction and adoption in the last few years. For newcomers, however, it can still be a little difficult to figure out how to deploy and manage your applications on Kubernetes. During this talk, we’ll walk through configuring, deploying, and managing applications on Kubernetes using an open source tool called Helm, a package manager for Kubernetes, which simplifies this process. If you’re already familiar with Helm, we’ll also talk about how we can build on the modular components that already exist like Docker, Helm, and Charts to create a workflow for application developers in which they can easily develop containerized, cloud native applications without having to know all the nitty gritty bits like how to build Dockerfiles, Kubernetes manifests, and even Helm charts.
