Building Apps on Kubernetes with Operator Framework
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are going to explore how we can build easily Kubernetes applications with Operator Framework – an open source toolkit designed and develop by Red Hat/CoreOS to manage Kubernetes native applications, called Operators, in a more effective, automated, and scalable way.
The Operator Framework includes:
Operator SDK: Enables developers to build Operators based on their expertise without requiring knowledge of Kubernetes API complexities.
Operator Lifecycle Management: Oversees installation, updates, and management of the lifecycle of all of the Operators (and their associated services) running across a Kubernetes cluster.
Operator Metering (joining in the coming months): Enables usage reporting for Operators that provide specialized services.
About Speakers:
Plamen Stoyanov has more than 17 years in IT, mostly as a System Administrator. He has rich experience working on HA solutions and different Automation projects.
Georgi Alexandrov is a professional developer more than 13 years and he turn the development of quality software part of his life.
