Title: Tools for rapid application development on Kubernetes
We'll go through some tools that help developers build their applications quickly for Kubernetes by running it directly on a k8s cluster, either by automating or by eliminating the docker build-push kubectl set-image steps.
We'll look at the follwing tools: kysnc, skaffold, gitkube & hasura.
Demos, talks and discussions for developers running or planning to run Kubernetes in production.
Come and learn, explore different use cases, show off your k8s pipeline, discuss the problems you're facing or help the rest of the community!
Members can request talks, demos/discussions on use cases and others can volunteer to take up the topic. We'll finalize the agenda by Wednesday afternoon. Each demo/talk can be of 15 minutes, followed by Q&A. Projector, podium, etc will be made available.
We'll do 2-3 such demos/talks every week, live streamed on YouTube & Twitter.
Discussions on topics as well as request for topics can happen on #koffee-with-kubernetes channel on Hasura's Discord server or on the Meetup page.
We have a dedicated Twitter account for Koffee With Kubernetes: https://twitter.com/KoffeeWithK8S
Follow for regular updates. You can also tweet to us to request/propose a talk.
Please feel free to join the discussion and suggest topics or use cases of your interest and we’ll do our best to cover them :)
Looking forward to seeing you at the next meetup this Thursday!
Hasura is a certified K8s provider and a CNCF member that runs multiple ~100 node clusters in production. The session will be moderated by Hasura engineers who manage these clusters.
