Our great January meetup brought many new members, but we want to bring our next meetup down to a more personal level. So, our March 1st meetup will focus on you, our members, getting involved with Kubernetes, from both the usage and the contributor perspectives.
First, we'll be finishing the discussion we started way back in November about running your own local Kubernetes cluster (in local VMs), based on the Kubernetes The Hard Way program that Kelsey mentioned in January. We'll talk about the ups and downs, and the fun of debugging when the environment did not work as expected.
We'll also be talking about getting involved with the Kubernetes project, as Noah shares his personal experiences being part of the 1.10 release team. We'll have pointers on how to get involved, and the best places to lurk before deciding if you want to get involved at all!
Bring your questions, bring your concerns, and hopefully bring a child-like sense of wonder, as we get everyone set up to explore the wonderful world of Kubernetes!
Secret swag from the CNCF finally arrived, so that will be available. Pizza and drinks will be provided by Infosiftr.
We hope to see everyone there!
