Kubernetes Meetup v9 - Introducing koris - a k8s installer, Loki 101 - logging made easy
Dear all,
welcome to the 9th Kubernetes Nuremberg Meetup!
The timeline for this event is:
18:00 - Arrival
18:15 - Opening
18:20 - Introducing koris - a k8s installer for OpenStack - by Oz Tiram @noris network
koris is a kubernetes installer for OpenStack. It's been developed for almost a year in house and is now available as an open source project.
In this talk we will discuss the following issues:
- why we built it?
- how we built it?
- what we learned?
- what we still want to achieve.
And of course there is a live demo!
19:00 - Food & Drinks
19:30 Using Grafana Loki to make sense of your logs - by Alexander Knipping@noris network
Grafana's [Loki][1] is one of the newer CNCF projects and promises to be "Prometheus but for Logs". This talk will use an open source demo setup to showcase how Loki can be used to gather logs, explore them via Grafana, as well as export Prometheus metrics based on log patterns.
As always,
Any [suggestions or feedback][2]? Let us know!
Your hosts,
Oz, Alex, Johannes
