Project Antrea, Open vSwitch networking with Kubernetes -- the easy way

The easy problems in container networking have been solved. Unless your rolling demos to production, this talk is for you. Project Antrea brings the power and extensibility of Open vSwitch to Kubernetes. We'll introduce Project Antrea and show how we plan to solve the hard problems with it. This project is very new (although it already boasts clusters in excess of 100s of nodes) and is primed for your input and participation. Our goal is to spawn the next evolution in Kubernetes network connectivity and security.

Mettles journey towards throw-away clusters

When Steve arrived at Mettle he was greeted by manually provisioned clusters with nodes that were multiple years old and people were scared to change them. This talk will show you the journey Mettle is on to go from this setup to how they now see clusters as being totally ephemeral. Steve will talk about the lessons learnt along the way, the tools being leveraged and what’s left to do to complete this journey.
