About this event

Join us as we welcome Devin Vance from LINBIT and their presentation on Software-Defined Storage the Linux Way.

For those of you who don't know, LINBIT is the force behind DRBD and the de facto open standard for High Availability (HA) software for enterprise and cloud computing. The LINBIT DRBD software is deployed in millions of mission-critical environments worldwide to provide High Availability (HA), Geo Clustering for Disaster Recovery (DR), and Software Defined Storage (SDS) for OpenStack and OpenNebula based clouds and now have a Software Defined Storage solution for Kubernetes!

Devin Vance
Linux Cluster Wizard/Specialist
As a Senior High Availability Engineer at LINBIT, Devin Vance is a "Cluster Wizard". He has configured hundreds of DRBD clusters and helped write many of LINBIT's DRBD technical guides. Devin has been a Linux geek since the early days of the 2.0 kernel, and a user of Linux HA since it was simply heartbeat. He specializes in turning open source software into Enterprise grade solutions. When not at the keyboard he can often be found riding his Harley and spending time with family.
