OCI, Container Registries, and the Tools That Use Them

About this event

What happens when an image is pushed to a registry?
Why are there so many digests? And how are the same registries used for images able to store things like Helm charts, signatures, and the Flux state?

This talk does a deep dive into how OCI specs define registries and container images, and how tools like regclient can be used to remotely administer them.
