If you know a little bit about containers and Kubernetes, my talk is a chance to take it to the next level with some (strong) opinions on how to develop, test and run microservices on a container-PaaS. I start with a very short review of concepts, following with the best practices that I have come up with and hopefully, we finish with a working demo of a code commit being continuously integrated and deployed into a running Kubernetes cluster on Microsoft Azure Container Service.
Speaker: Amir Moghimi is a Lead Software Engineer, passionate about design, implementation and operation of highly scalable and reliable software systems based on microservices and cloud technologies. I have been working on container Platform-as-a-Service solutions based on Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift, as well as consulting enterprise clients on cloud infrastructure design and implementation for the past 2 years.
