What do we have in our incoming meetup? Envoy and Prometheus!
#Talk 1: Dhi Aurrahman (Software Engineer @ Tetrate) - "Envoy and Contributing to Open Source"
Dio is Software engineer at Tetrate and actively contribute as Envoy maintainer. He has spoke in several tech talks and conferences locally and globally about Envoy.
In this talk, he will depict the role of Envoy (https://www.envoyproxy.io) in the current "cloud-native" landscape. This talk also encourages audiences to contribute back to Envoy (and other upstream projects in general), by showing how Envoy codebase is structured and to introduce changes to it.
# Talk 2: Evan Adi Prasetyo, Infrastructure Engineer @ Airy - "Scaling Prometheus with Thanos"
Evan is an Infrastructure Engineer at Airy. He's currently exploring the cloud-native landscape and the DevOps world.
It has long been known that Prometheus "doesn't scale." However, there are strategies to make Prometheus scale and store data for long term use. One of them is Thanos, an open source project by Improbable that can help scale Prometheus deployments in Kubernetes clusters and achieve long term data store.

Q: I'm waitlisted (RSVP full), can I still come?
A: Yes you can, but please come earlier than others to guarantee seat. We do RSVP to make approximation on how many will come, for smaller venue we usually make smaller RSVP slot.
Q: Should I bring laptop?
A: Well, this is really up to you, but we are not doing a hands-on workshop.
