Middle East and North Africa

Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 4:30 – 6:00 PM UTC

Virtual event

In Collaboration with MENA/"DevOps in AbuDhabi" we starting a new series of DevOps practices and processes. Stating with Chaos Engineering, what is it? why do we need it? What is so compelling about it? can it improve our DevOps practices, processes, or techniques? how would it affect the reliability of infrastructure or applications?

About this event

In Collaboration with MENA/" DevOps in AbuDhabi" we are starting a new series of DevOps practices and processes.

How can Cloud-Native environments run smoothly as they grow and include more services? The only constant is change. We live in a world where technology is progressing rapidly in every direction. With technologies like Kubernetes, apps perform considerably better in terms of performance. We don't have outages as regularly as we did five years ago. But everything comes at a cost. More significant innovation brings more complexity, making it a never-ending game to stay on top of application dependability concerns.

Business-critical services and apps are operating on Cloud-Native infrastructures today, and Chaos Engineering has emerged as an effective technique for improving the millions of applications in production. In this talk, we'll look at how automated Chaos can be achieved with LitmusChaos powered Harness Chaos Engineering platform and observe how Harness Chaos Engineering combines adjustable contexts to initiate chaos experiments as application states change automatically. You'll get a clear idea of how chaos engineering affects the larger community and how LitmusChaos and Harness Chaos Engineering can be a solution the masses should adopt.
