9:30 PM	How to Use CNCF’s Falco to Protect Yourself From the New SCARLETEEL Attack! by Marat Salakhutdinov	The Sysdig Threat Research team recently found a new attack pattern, SCARLETEEL, sophisticated attack starts from a compromised Kubernetes container and spreads to the victim’s AWS account. Luckily, we have Falco and can detect this kind of threats in cloud runtime!
10:30 PM	Unpacking K8s 1.28 by CNCF Ambassador and Release Lead Grance Nguen	Fireside Chat with CNCF Ambassador Grace Nguyen - Kubernetes 1.28 release lead and student at the University of Waterloo. Grace had to juggle exams and community work to bring Kubernetes 1.28 to life. We going to discuss what was happening behind the since to release K8s 1.28 as well as discuss cool features
10:45 PM	Karpenter: Just-in-time Nodes for Any Kubernetes Cluster by Carlos Rivera	Karpenter is an open-source node provisioning project built for Kubernetes. Adding Karpenter to a k8s cluster can dramatically improve the efficiency and cost of running workloads on that cluster.
11:00 PM	How Lightspeed leverage Karpenter to enhance Developer Experience	Scaling to million transactions
11:15 PM	Shorten the dev loop with mirrord - run local processes in the context of your cloud service by Mehul Aurora	tests pass, PR approved, deploy to staging, and crash… realize what’s wrong, roll back on staging, fix the bug, write more tests, get it reviewed, deploy… and it crashes; stuck in a loop? comes mirrord, breaks the loop by letting you test your local process in the context of your cloud service!
11:45 PM	Beyond dashboarding : the Grafana Observability Stack	Most people know Grafana for its visualization and dashboarding capabilities. Since its beginnings, it has grown to become the de-facto standard open source visualization for cloud-native observability. But there's more to the Grafana ecosystem: an entire MLT (metrics-logs-traces) observability stack now expanding beyond the three pillars. In this session, we will introduce the Grafana open source observability stack, what it is about, architecture, deployment models with a short demo.
12:15 AM	Observability as code with OpenSLO by Simon Boyer	In this talk, we will discuss what is OpenSLO and how it can transform SLO management by enabling a "Shift Left" approach and by facilitating the separation of concerns. We will see some usage patterns for this SLO-as-code standard that will promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a proactive approach to reliability, ultimately improving software service quality.
