Hello NYC Kubernauts!
We're happy to announce the May edition of the New York Kubernetes Meetup! This month, we'll be focusing on workflows.
Phllip Lombardi from Datawire will speak on strategies and trade-offs for setting up productive and realistic development environments for microservices - this can can be complicated with services depending on other services.
Also joining us will be John from innRoad. He'll be speaking on the company's approach, tools and the last mile of challenges they're looking to address in their transition from traditional infrastructure to kubenetes and containers.

Phil Lombardi (<a>@TheBigLombowski</a>) is a Senior Platform Engineer at Datawire.io where he is building a development platform aimed at small companies adopting or using microservices and with a need for their platform to be simple, resilient and adaptable to the ever-changing tech landscape. When not pounding on his keyboard or wrangling cloud infrastructure Phil is often found hitting the links to play golf or wandering around the city of Boston looking for the next exciting thing to do.
John Delivuk (@sawteen<a href="https://twitter.com/sawteen"></a>) is a Technical Lead at innRoad with a focus on their internal platform. At innRoads, they're implementing a complex management system for independent hoteliers following domain driven design with a built on service orientated architecture. In the last 10 years, John's career has focused on SaaS applications - spanning non profit, video advertising, video delivery, and management systems. In his free time he enjoys acro yoga, and climbing.
