In-person event

About this event

Join the fine folks from NYI, Datadog, and Deis for an evening of containers on NYI bare metal!

Kent Rancourt, core contributor for Deis, will discuss the next version of the Open Source Deis platform and how it can help you get your apps up and running in containers. Take a tour through the basic resources in Kubernetes and how the Deis project uses those APIs to build a PaaS workflow. We’ll also dive into the test and development clusters deployed on NYI’s bare metal.

Rémi Hakim will be presenting on "Monitoring in motion: The challenges of monitoring Kubernetes and containers".

Rémi is one of the original, core engineers at Datadog. He has worked on many aspects of the product -- from the web app to the intake pipeline. Currently, he leads the integration team while focusing on the Datadog agent. His work in the past year has included integrations for Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
