About this event
Introduction to Cilium and first feedback on Crossplane
Nicolas Busseneau is a Cilium contributor and engineer at Isovalent, working mostly on CI/CD, caramel shortbread enjoyer
In this session, you'll discover how Cilium with eBPF increases networking performance while providing identity and application-aware security and visibility for your cloud-native workloads.
We will also look at Hubble; Cilium's fully distributed networking and security observability platform, and how eBPF enables deep visibility into the communication and behaviour of services and networking infrastructure in a completely transparent manner.
Crossplane : One step further in our Gitops Journey
I am a senior Site Reliability Engineer with a particular interest in Linux containers and cloud technologies. I’m currently leading the SRE team at KMTX.
As side activities, I’m part of the CNCF Paris community organizers, and I have the role of CNCF Ambassador in France.
Working in the Social Gaming, Video, and MarketPlace industries for the last 10 years as a backend developer, I specialized in high traffic web applications optimization & monitoring, and transition from monolith to SOA.
I currently work at KMTX in SRE team, designing tools to enhance developer experience, and allowing fast and safe delivery.
As explained during our last presentation, our goal has always been to empower developers.
We reached a pretty nice level of maturity using Gitops principles, providing them all the tools to be autonomous in the life cycle of their applications.
But we were missing something… being able to provision infrastructure resources from their applications repositories.
In this talk we’ll present how we used Crossplane to fulfill this need.
