Intimidated by Kubernetes? This month we'll be running through how easy it is to use a public Kubernetes cloud (Google's GKE) and how it is just as easy to set up your own local Kubernetes cluster with Minikube, an open source community project.
Thank you to Google for offering to present this month on the various ways customers can run Kubernetes on Google. We'll be reviewing your options and the benefits of using Kubernetes on GCE versus using GKE.
We'll run through some live demos spinning up container workloads and cover the secrets to running your workloads for _free_ on GCE and GKE.
Kyle Murley works for Google architecting Google Cloud and Google Kubernetes Engines solutions. He was a featured presenter Google Onboarding at San Diego last week. As a San Diego local, he's excited about presenting to the local meetup!!
