Abstract:
OpenStack Operations is being pulled into the container world with tools like Kolla and now Kolla-Kubernetes, and with that shift, it's important to have a solid understanding of the underlying container management domain.
Join us as we explore the building blocks of a simple scaleable Kubernetes-based application, leveraging pods, replication controllers, and service controllers. Bring your laptop, and follow along or just show up and gain better understanding of how operations can be better manged via container operating environments and how this applies to the OpenStack domain.
Because this is a workshop, classroom style, we will NOT be serving food/bev. We would like people to show up ready to engage and get down to business! :) You are welcome to bring your own munchies if you would like. Heck... bring your own beer (and one to share). ;)
