Some more information on MagnetoDB:

MagnetoDB is an implementation of the Amazon DynamoDB API built for the OpenStack ecosystem. The intent is to build a "Perfect Key/Value Storage" such that it is eventually accepted into the OpenStack community.

MagnetoDB makes it simple and cost-effective to store and retrieve any amount of data, and serve very high levels of request traffic. It offloads the administrative burden of operating and scaling a highly available distributed database cluster from application developers, allowing them to focus on their core competencies instead. In order to use MagnetoDB, the developer simply creates a table and starts working with their data. The developer need not worry about VM provisioning, database install, configuration, patching, monitoring, or other administrative activities.
