John will be presenting a “ Deep-Dive into Swift .”
Learn how Swift stores, serves and replicates data and explore the application profiles and use cases that can benefit from a distributed, highly-concurrent object storage system.

About John:
John Dickinson is a technical lead at Rackspace Hosting where he works on Rackspace’s CloudFiles product. He has been active in the Openstack community since its inception and is the Project Technical Lead for Openstack Swift. John has built enormous data storage clusters that store billions of objects and petabytes of data for their customers.
