About this event

Topic: OpenStack Magnum

We are SO EXCITED for this meetup! We've been promising this one to you for a few months now, and yes, it's happening! Adrian Otto, PTL of OpenStack Project Magnum, will join us Thursday the 18th to talk about this awesome OpenStack project.

For those who don't know, Magnum is an OpenStack API service developed by the OpenStack Containers Team making container orchestration engines such as Docker and Kubernetes available as first class resources in OpenStack. Magnum uses Heat to orchestrate an OS image which contains Docker and Kubernetes and runs that image in either virtual machines or bare metal in a cluster configuration.

If you want to get a head start, you can read more about project Magnum here: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Magnum

We will stream live using Google Hangouts. Check back at the time of the meetup for the address. We will also post the recording link after the meetup completes.

Additional updates and photos will be published via the meetup email list, OpenStack community blog, and twitter via @SWDevAngel, @RevansVMware, or @sarob
