TryStack.org - a Sandbox for OpenStack!

About this event

Come learn about TryStack, the free OpenStack sandbox, from Jay Pipes and Nachi Ueno, who have been driving the initiative.

TryStack is ideal for developers, end users and the technology ecosystem who want a fast, easy way to test code against a real OpenStack environment, without having to stand up hardware themselves. The first zone available today has 156 cores, 1040GB memory and 59.1 TB of disk storage running the latest OpenStack release (code-name Diablo), Dell™ PowerEdge C6100 and C6105 servers and libvert/KVM.

Dell, Equinix, HP Cloud Services, NTT and Rackspace have all generously provided equipment, time and expertise to make TryStack possible. Come learn how to use TryStack and get involved, and help us celebrate the launch with beers, food and t-shirts!

The TryStack meetup will follow OpenStack doc sprint day, which will also take place in the Rackspace San Francisco office from 9 am - 4 pm. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and we'll have drinks starting at 4 pm for doc contributors who want to stick around or TryStack meetup goers who want to arrive early. We encourage you to attend both events!

We will also be hosting a webinar about TryStack, February 23 at 2 pm, if you'd like to learn more in the meantime.
