Kubernetes networking plug-ins and frameworks are necessary and integral to running K8s. This talk will explain how the two most common frameworks: Flannel and Calico work underneath the hood. Once we understand these basics we can then show some best practices and solutions to common gotchas with the goal of increasing the speed and reliability of your Kubernetes networking plane.

Eddie Esquivel, Senior Solutions Engineer at Tigera

Eddie Esquivel is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Tigera and has been working in technology for the last 20 years - first as a developer more recently as a Solutions Engineer. Over the last few years he’s been focused on the Kubernetes space with experience at CoreOS and now Tigera. In his spare time he enjoys exploring New York City with his wife.
