About this event

Join us for the next K8s meetup! (Back in the 'burbs)

We'll share our experiences composing stateful distributed systems like Cassandra with Kubernetes, while also maintaining a shared-nothing approach. Our goals include immense scalability and fully automated platform-driven consumption.

*Please have your guests register with meetup and rsvp if possible. While not required, it will simplify entry.*

Rough schedule:
6:00P: Arrive / Eat / Drink / Socialize

6:30P: Presentation/Deep-Dive and Demo - Milson, Steve, Ryan, and Greyson (Optum)
- Why would we do such a thing?
- The gory details of c* and how we made it go
- Building a dynamic local disk provisioner
- Deploying with PRM - platform automation gone to plaid!

7:20P: Open discussions, etc.

We'll have some tasty food and beverages like usual - hope to see you there!

-Milson

Optum is located at 13625 Technology Drive. There are multiple “Optum” locations in the southwest metro, so please use the address. You’ll turn onto campus from Technology drive and from there can park in the ramp. No parking permit is required. Take the stairs/elevator in the ramp to the “Skyway” level (top level), which will bring you into the building right at the security desk. Here you will check in with security - PLEASE HAVE YOUR ID READY. A volunteer will then escort you down to the cafeteria where the event will take place.
