Hello Triangle Kubernauts! We are so happy to announce our 9th meetup session on Thursday, Oct. 20th! Please join us to welcome Ardalan Kangarlou from NetApp, who will enlighten us on storage support within Kubernetes (details below). Following Ardalan's talk, CloudPerceptions will also briefly review the various components of Kubernetes master and worker nodes, and will walk through a ground-up install so you can see all the moving parts.
About Ardalan's talk:
Kubernetes has greatly improved its support for stateful containers. This talk presents a comprehensive overview of storage support in Kubernetes. We will cover topics such as Volumes, Persistent Volumes, Flex Volumes and dynamic storage provisioning in Kubernetes.
About Ardalan:
Ardalan Kangarlou is a member of the Advanced Technology Group and CTO Office at NetApp. He has led some of NetApp integrations with Kubernetes and actively participates in Kubernetes Storage Special Interest Group (SIG). Ardalan holds a PhD in computer science from Purdue University.
