In this session, we will explore the evolution of public cloud infrastructure and explain how they have overcome some of these challenges using hardware offloads. We will further demonstrate how bare-metal hyper converged infrastructure has solved these challenges for private cloud environments by leveraging Kubernetes orchestration to deploy containers as well as virtual machines to co-exist on the same platform.
Bio:
Hiral Patel is one of the founding engineers at Diamanti. She has been working on deploying containers, virtual machines on Hyper Converged Infrastructure using Kubernetes orchestrator. She was also involved in designing and implementing the FlexVolume driver which culminated into Container Storage Interface (CSI). Prior to Diamanti, she was one of the key engineers who developed Cisco's FCOE device driver and contributed to the Linux community.
