Deploying ElasticSearch, Kibana and Fluentd with Helm, and AWS Load Balancing with Kubernetes.
Join us for a presentation from Scott Summer, Sr Solutions Engineer with CoreOS. Scott will cover how to leverage Helm to deploy ElasticSearch operator, Kibana and Fluentd to monitor all the logs within your Kubernetes cluster. He will discuss some of the challenges encountered with using third-party resources (TPR) in conjunction with Helm. He will show within a few commands how you can deploy everything in Kubernetes using helm and share his experience learning how to do it.
Scott will also cover some common patterns for load balancing traffic across your kubernetes applications with AWS ELBs (ip based routing) and ALBs (url path based routing) with Kubernetes and how we can use them in conjunction with Kubernetes services and ingress controllers. He will be covering the Ticketmaster case study, their move to AWS and Kubernetes; utilizing the new ALB Ingress controller. We can use the ingress model in Kubernetes to manage an AWS Application Load Balancer.
