About this event

As many companies transition to a microservice architecture, they find it gets more difficult to manage and understand the network connecting the “service mesh”. Requirements such metrics, monitoring, and logging often become more difficult in a microservice architecture. More complex requirements, such as A/B testing, canary releases, rate limiting, access control, and end-to-end authentication become an even larger burden.

Enter Istio (greek for Sail). Istio solves many of these complex requirements, with the added bonus of not requiring a change to the application code.
We will be going over that you can do with Istio, and showing some demos of it in action on a kubernetes cluster.
