We're looking for an organized and proactive contributor to help manage Merge Forward's onsite presence at KubeCon Atlanta. As the Onsite Activities Coordinator, you'll ensure that our community has an impact at the event.
What You'll Do
Manage the kiosk. Recruit and schedule volunteers to staff the Merge Forward kiosk in the Project Pavilion. You'll also ensure the kiosk is always staffed during our shifts (we have a part-time booth in the mornings).
Help coordinate Community Hub sessions. Coordinate with event staff to find session/discussion leads for the different community group sessions.
Prepare our teams. Use our existing checklists and develop new ones to ensure all volunteers are fully prepared for their shifts and responsibilities.
Who We're Looking For
You must be attending KubeCon Atlanta. We're looking for someone who has attended multiple KubeCons in the past and understands how these events work. You must be highly organized and not afraid to follow up with people to ensure tasks are completed.
