We are the local community group for the St. Louis, Missouri area.
We aim to help make cloud native ubiquitous by providing engaging talks and presentations while sharing our experiences building and deploying software on Kubernetes. All levels of skill are welcome! We strictly adhere to the CNCF Community Code of Conduct, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
We strive for a monthly meeting cadence at our hosts, Object Computing (OCI), in Creve Coeur. Additionally, our events are typically live-streamed to YouTube in partnership with the StLGo Meetup group. However, we feel learning together is best done in person.
Please be sure to join the local chapter. This will allow you to register for events and ensure you receive notices of upcoming events in the future.
A major benefit of using Kubernetes is enabling workloads to scale up or down based upon demand. Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) fits some of our need, but by adding KEDA, the Kubernetes Event-driver Autoscaler, you can drive the scaling of any container in Kubernetes based upon the number of events needing to be processed.
