8th CNCF Kubernetes meetup
The whole meetup will be in english language.
Key theme: Observability and Analysis
We are going to talk about infrastructure visibility and application monitoring. Marco will introduce Loki, its architecture and the design trade-offs in an approachable way. We’ll both cover Loki and Promtail, the agent used to scrape local logs to push to Loki, including the Prometheus-style service discovery used to dynamically discover logs and attach metadata from applications running in a Kubernetes cluster.
Valentina in this session is going to be a practical deep dive into the architecture of the Prometheus project. The different components and how they integrate with Kubernetes. We will focus on the Prometheus interface with Kubernetes and how we can leverage automatic service discovery + re-labeling to monitor our Kubernetes infrastructural and application components.
Program:
18:10 Invitation and CNCF presentation - presented by Filip Pohronský
18:20 Loki: like Prometheus, but for logs - presented by Marco Pracucci
